The Jinkas

Bungalow

After weeks of trying, we finally snagged a reservation at Bungalow by Vikas Khanna.

The evening began with drinks, setting the mood perfectly. For appetizers, we had the yogurt kababs and lamb chops. The kababs were the star—crispy on the outside with a warm, creamy center that melted in the mouth. The lamb chops, while flavorful, were a bit tricky to eat with the knife provided.

For mains, we had the Chicken Amrit (butter chicken) and Kokum Salmon, a tandoor-cooked dish with a vibrant red beet hue and surprising South Indian flavors.

Dessert was delicious but impractical—the kulfi slid off the plate, and we had to request extra spoons. Maybe better served in a bowl?

Chef Vikas Khanna stopping by our table added a nice personal touch. A thoughtful mix of unique flavors and warm hospitality.
